About
Emma O'Loughlin is an Irish costume designer with 15 years industry experience. Emma's career has been greatly shaped by her invaluable time serving as an assistant designer to multi award winning costume designer Michele Clapton. Under her mentorship, she gained extensive knowledge and honed her skills in designing and assisting across a wide range of genres including period, fantasy, and contemporary productions. For her contribution as assistant costume designer on seasons VII and VIII of Game of Thrones and Season I of the Crown, Emma was awarded three primetime emmy awards.
emma has since established herself as a costume designer in her own right, she is passionate about translating narratives into visually compelling costume designs and is dedicated to pushing creative boundaries while staying true to the authenticity of each production she is involved in.
